The Mechanized Infantry Regiment bid farewell to outgoing Centre Commandant Colonel H MU Herath RWP RSP USP psc on 17 May 2018. Commencing with day's proceedings a Guard Turnout and Ceremonial Parade were presented in honour of outgoing Centre Commandant.
After The Ceremonial parade the Centre Commandant interacted with Officers and ORs staff of the Regiment during the All Ranks tea party.
Finally, "Farewell Dinner" was hosted in respect of the outgoing Centre Commandant by all Staff Officers of the Regimental Centre with the participation of Commandant - MITC and all Commanding Officers of Mechanized Infantry Battalions.
