DISTRIBUTION OF DRY RATION PACKS, DONATION FOR HOUSE PROJECTS AND AWARDING OF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR FAMILIES OF FALLEN AND DISABLED WAR HEROES BY LADIES CLUB OF MECHANIZED INFANTRY REGIMENT

The much-awaited combined Ranaviru Upahaara (War Hero Tribute) Ceremony and the Ranaviru ommemoration Ceremony, organized every year by the Ladies Club of Mechanized Infantry Regiment was held on a grand scale at the Defence Service College auditorium on Saturday (4) under the aegis of Lieutenant General rishanthe De Silva, Commander of the Army and Mrs Nayana De Silva, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit as the Chief Guest at the invitation of Mrs Dhammika Hathurusinghe, Chairperson, MIR Ladies Club.
