COLONEL OF THE REGIMENT VISITS TO THE MECHANIZED INFANTRY BRIGADE, 1ST BATTALION AND 5TH BATTALION MECHANIZED INFANTRY REGIMENT

After assuming duties as the 14th Colonel of the Regiment of MIR, Major General D M K D B Pussella RWP RSP – Commander, Security Forces Headquarters (West) marked the first official visit to the Mechanized Infantry Brigade, 1st Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment and 5th Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment on 08 February 2023.

Commander, Mechanized Infantry Brigade Brigadier B P G K Balasooriya RSP psc and Centre commandant, Mechanized Infantry Regimental Centre Brigadier A M A Abeyasinghe RWP RSP USP psc, Comd, 552 Infantry Brigade Brigadier K W Jayaweera USP psc, along with other Staff Officers were accompanied with Colonel of the Regiment.
