CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE ORIENTATION COURSE FOR RECRUITS

The Closing Ceremony of the Orientation Course for Recruits was held on 21 April 2022 at the Mechanized Infantry Training Centre. Commandant of the Mechanized Infantry Training Centre, Colonel Koshina Peiris RSP was graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The newly joined 61 x Recruits of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment were under gone the course from 21 February 2022 to 21 April 2022. They were taught about the all matters pertaining to the Regimentation, Functions of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment and Introduction to the APCs/ICVs. After successful completion of the course, these recruits were returned to their respective Battalion to employ as well trained recruits.
