ASSUMES OFFICE AS THE GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 23 DIVISION

Brigadier A G D N Jayasundera RWP RSP assumed office as the General Officer Commanding of 23 Division on 20 November 2019.

Headquarters 23 Division had been organized ceremonial formalities to mark the event. In light of the above, the formal military ceremony in the Headquarters premises commenced soon after the Guard Turnout at the entrance. After that, newly appointed General Officer Commanding was attended the troop address followed by a tea party and sapling of planting.

Afterwards, blessed with religious observances for new office as the 22nd General Officer Commanding of 23 Division. Staff Officers of 23 Division, Brigades Commanders who are under command to the 23 Division were present during the occasion.
