ANOTHER WELFARE PROJECT COMPLETED AND HANDED OVER

The half constructed house by S/826233 Sgt Nilanka N-3 Mech Inf was completed and hand over to his family by the Colonel of the Regiment Major General JR Kulatunga RSP ndc psc with brief ceremony on 24 February 2018. The project was funded by Mr. Tharanga Weerawardhana, Chairman/ Managing Director Alaris Lanka (pvt) Ltd with the request of the Chairman - Mechanized Infantry Regiment Ladies Club. He donated Rs. 2,500,000.00 for selected five soldiers (Rs.500, 000 each) of 5 Battalions to complete their half constructed houses.

The project was executed and supervised by the Centre Commandant Colonel H M U Herath RWP RSP USP psc and the Commanding Officer 3 Mech Inf Lt Col JMA Jayasekara RSP USP.
