The 4 Mechanized Infantry Regiment, celebrated its’15th anniversary on 19th February 2023. Series of events were organized in parallel with the anniversary celebration. A Pirith Chanting was organized on 16th February 2023 followed by a Morning Alms Giving.
The Commanding Officer Major Saranga Perera psc MIR was treated with A Guard Turn out followed by a parade, and attended for ceremonial events on 19th February 2023. Further, to mark the Anniversary Day Celebration, main appointment holders were offered with mementos by the Commanding Officer.
