Lt Col P G T U B Jayaratne RSP USP psc IG SLA assumed duties as the 14th Commanding Officer of 10 Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery on 11 August 2023 at Headquarter, 10 Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, Jaffna.
Programme for assuming duties commenced with reviewing the Guard turnout. Lt Col P G T U B Jayaratne RSP USP psc IG SLA placed his signature on a formal document after a brief religious observance as a symbolic gesture of taking over the command. The day’s event included planting a sapling, troop address and camp visit.
