Farewell Ceremony to Brigadier M A D S Munasinghe RWP RSP psc IG and Farewell Dinner for Brigadier G J N W Fernando (Rtd) USP USACGSC IG

Sri Lanka Artillery bid farewell to Brigadier M A D S Munasinghe RWP RSP psc IG and Brigadier G J N W Fernando (Rtd) USP USACGSC IG on 20 July 2023. Farewell formalities were held in its customary way at the Artillery Regimental Centre, Panagoda.

Commencement of the ceremony for marked by laying a flower wreath to the fallen war heroes at the Regimental Monument. A Guard turnout and a farewell parade were accorded to the Brigadier M A D S Munasinghe RWP RSP psc IG, by the Troops of the Regiment.

The days’ events were concluded with a Dinner Night hosted by the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General W A S S Wanasinghe RSP VSV USP ndu, at the officers’ Mess Panagoda.
