The Asian Athletic Championship was held on 12 to 16 July 2023 at Bangkok, Thailand with 17 countries, representing the Asia. The performance of the Gunners who participated in this competition is as follows:
S/165033 Sgt Darshana S A (6 SLA) i. Gold Medal (400 x 4 Relay) with New Asian Athletic Record and Sri Lankan Athletic Record. ii. Silver Medal (400x4 Medley Relay) with New Sri Lankan Athletic Record.
S/165882 L/Bdr Pabasara Niku K D K K (6 SLA) i. Gold Medal (400 x 4 Relay) with New Asian Athletic Record and Sri Lankan Athletic Record.
S/165302 L/Bdr Kodikara T M T L (6 SLA) i. Qualified for 400 x 4 Relay selection Rounds.
