Colonel Commandant Marked His Visit to 9 SLA

The Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda ndc IG marked his visit to 9th Field Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery at Sinhapura on 12 November 2021.

The visiting commander was accorded with a Drive past at the main entrance of 9 SLA and welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel WMTD Wanigasekara USP psc IG SLA. The Commanding Officer of 9 SLA briefed about the present deployment, duties and developments of the regiment.

The day's event also textured with the planting of sapling and all ranks tea. Subsequently, the Colonel Commandant addressed the troops. The day's itinerary was concluded after signing the visitors book.

The event took place with strictly adhering to the health guidance given to prevent the COVID 19 pandemic.
