Colonel Commandant’s Inaugural Visit to the School of Artillery

The Colonel Commandant, Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Maj Gen PR Wanigasooriya VSV USP ndu USACGSC has chosen School of Artillery as his first destination among the series of visits in the Regiment of Artillery installations. His visit to the ‘Cradle of the Gunners’ has brought glamour and pride to this prestigious institution.

The program commenced with the briefing by the Commandant, followed by a group photograph, tree planting, troop address, and visit around the school premises. Following the events, an official lunch organized at the officer’s mess with the participation of all officers at the Artillery Complex Minneriya. The day’s program culminated with a colorful social at the Officer’s Mess.

The Centre Commandant, the Commander Artillery Brigade and the Deputy Centre Commandant attended to this event.
