The Regiment of Artillery paid its tribute to the memory of fallen war heroes at the Regimental Monument, parallel to the National War Heroes Commemoration Ceremony, under the patronage of Brigadier L F Kasthuriarachchi and many Gunner officers and other ranks who are serving at the Regimental Centre.
In the 128 years long history of the regiment, 43 officers and 529 other ranks had made the supreme sacrifice while defending the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
