5th Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery celebrated its 36th anniversary on 22 Jan 2016 at Kanthale. Anniversary day textured with the guard turn out and parade accorded to the Commanding Officer by all batteries followed by tree planting and the day’s event was concluded with all ranks lunch.
