Annual Pirith Chanting Ceremony in Celebration of 127th Anniversary Day
All night Pirith Chanting Ceremony was held on 20 April 2015 at the Other Ranks Mess of 4th Field Regiment SLA, Panagoda to invoke blessings of Noble Triple Gem to the Regiment and upon those fallen behalf of the Motherland at its 127th Anniversary Day. Over five hundred family members together with officers and men headed by Colonel Commandant observed Pirith until dawn of 21st April. Pirith Chanting was followed by Alms giving to Maha Sanga to complete the rite.
