5 SLA celebrated its 34th anniversary with a series of ceremonies which culminated in the Regimental Day Parade accorded to the Commanding Officer on 22 January 2014. War heroes of the unit were honoured at a wreath laying ceremony at the Artillery Monument at Panagoda on 18 January. A few pictures taken at the 5 SLA 34th anniversary celebrations are given below:
