Major Roshan Cabraal (Retd), Major General Jagath Rambukpotha, Colonel Ranjith Koanvinne (Retd) and Colonel Ranjith Rupasinghe (Retd) presented a classical painting to the Regiment of Artillery on 12 April 2013. 125th Anniversary Painting, as this masterpiece is called, Depicts the Sinhala Artillery decimating the Portuguese charge on the siege positions of King Rajasinghe 1 during the Great Siege of Colombo in 1587 where a formidable force of over 150 bronze Artillery pieces were skillfully used.
