BE A GUNNER

Artillery Officers

Over the years the Regiment of Artillery has produced three Army Commanders and many General Officers. Officer who join the Gunner Tribe has a wider scope for both professional and personal development. Gunner Officers have many opportunities to broaden their horizon by following several overseas and local courses. Some of those are mentioned below. Further, those who excel in other fields such as sports are provided opportunities to reach the pinnacle.

b. Overseas Young Officers' Course.
c. Overseas Locating and Survey Course.
d. Overseas Advance Gunnery Course.
e. Officers' Long Gunnery Staff Course.
f. Artillery Senior Command Course.



Artillery Soldiers

Soldiers joining the Regiment after basic training need to follow the Basic Gunnery Course to become a member of the Gunner Tribe. As they climb the career ladder they acquire a wider scope of knowledge and skills that equip them to face challenges of both personal and professional lives. The Gunners' horizon is progressively broadened through several overseas and local courses. Some of them are mentioned below.
