Relinquishment of appointment as The Commandant School of Artillery

Lieutenant Colonel L C K Pathirana RSP IG SLA relinquished the appointment as the Commandant, School of Artillery on 31 August 2019. A series of formalities observed in connection with the relinquishment of the appointment which commenced with the reviewing of the Guard Turnout accorded to the outgoing Commandant. Subsequently, the Commandant addressed the troops and participated for the all ranks tea arranged by the staff of the school. A farewell dinner was organized at the Officers’ Mess to bid farewell for the outgoing Commandant by all officers at the Artillery complex.
