An overnight Pirith Chanting ceremony was held in the evening on 22 April 2024, in line with the 136th Regimental Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony. The event was concluded with the offering of “Heel Dana” to Maha Sanga on 23 April 2024 morning where the religious blessings were invoked on the heroic Gunners who paid the supreme sacrifice.
The Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG, along with Senior Officers, Officers and their spouses, Other Ranks and family members of Fallen War Heroes of the Regiment of Artillery were present at the occasion.
