Officers Training Day of Sri Lanka Artillery - 1/2023

Officers Training Day of Sri Lanka Artillery was held on 04 and 05 November 2023 at the Artillery Complex, Minneriya, with the participation of Senior Officers and other Officers. The day’s events were commenced with Officers address by the Colonel Commandant and informative and thought provoking lectures as listed below:

Lecture on “Customs and Tradition for a resilient regiment “QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCANT” was conduct by Col Nuwan Gunawardana psc IG.

Lecture on “Welfare Measures in Sri Lanka Army” was conduct by Lt Col Dananjaya Fernando SLAOC (Col Coord Welfare Army - Suwasahana fund).

Lecture on “Importance of education for career development of Officers” was conduct by Maj Gen Wipula Chandarasiri RSP USP psc.

The day’s proceedings terminated, with an informative and timely presentation by the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Artillery Maj Gen B K G M L Rodrigo RSP psc IG on "Personal Grooming and Deportment" during the Diners Club at the Officers’ Mess. The second day of training reserved for a Cricket tournament held at ITC ground Minneriya, among Officers. This was enhanced the cohesiveness and team spirit of “Gunner” Officers, for sure! The Officers’ Training Day concluded successfully, after enriching and inspiring “Gunner Officers”, on professional development towards “Glory and Success”.
