Lt Col D M B P B Dissanayake RSP USP SLAassumed duties as the 11^th Commanding Officer of 12 (V) Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery (Rft) on 06 November 2020 at Headquarters 12 (V) Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery (Rft), Koorai.

Programme for assuming duties commenced with reviewing the Guard Turnout. As a symbolic gesture of taking over the command, Lt Col D M B P B Dissanayake RSP USP SLA placed his signature for a formal document after a brief religious observance. The day’s event itinerary included planting of a mango sapling, troops address and all ranks tea at the ORs’ Mess.
