The Sri Lanka Artillery organized its annual IG Seminar which is the most professional round table discussion on artillery matters in multi disciplines. Seminar was held on 12th and 13th December 2015 at the School of Artillery, Minneriya and the forum was presided by the Colonel Commandant, Sri Lanka Artillery Major General M Hathurusinghe RSP ndc IG on the inaugural day.
This year theme of discussion was based on the innovation of artillery to meet modern trends and possibilities of inducting new equipment and adopt procedures in to our system in par with the latest technologies and trends in the field. Nominated IGs were presenting formal presentation on fact finding missions entrusted to them on which the discussion was developed. School of Artillery Minneriya hosted a Dinner where IGs of all ages shared happy hour adding glamour to the seminar.
School of Artillery under the supervision of Headquarters Artillery Brigade host the annual event keeping the traditions and custom of gunner family each year.
