Farewell Ceremony to Brigadier S P Malawarage RSP USP IG

The Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery bid farewell to Brigadier S P Malawarage RSP USP IG on 18 July 2024. Farewell formalities were held in its customary way at the Artillery Regimental Centre, Panagoda.

Commencement of the ceremony marked by laying a flower wreath to the fallen war heroes at the Regimental Monument. A Guard turnout and a farewell parade were accorded to the Brigadier S P Malawarage RSP USP IG, by the Troops of the Regiment. The day's events were concluded with a Dinner Night hosted by the Commander of the Security Forces (Central) and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General B K G M L Rodrigo RSP psc IG, and Other Officers at the Artillery Regimental Officers' Mess Panagoda.
