Assuming the office as the Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army

The Colonel Commandant of Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda assumed the office as the 36th Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army on 08 September 2021 at the Army Headquarters.

As a symbolic gesture of taking over the duties, Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda placed his signature to a formal document in the presence of senior officers of the Regiment and the staff of the DCOS office after a brief religious rituals and lighting of the traditional oil lamp.

Event was organized by strictly adhering to all precautionary measures to prevent COVID – 19 pandemic.
