Assuming Duties as the Centre Commandant - Regiment of Artillery

Brigadier K A D N R Kannangara RSP IG assumed duties as the 22nd Centre Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery on 05 January 2024 at the Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda.

The day’s proceedings were commenced with the Guard Turnout at the main entrance to the Regimental Headquarters. The incumbent Centre Commandant was welcomed by the Staff Officers of the RHQ SLA. The Centre Commandant placed his signature for a formal document in a presence of Regimental Staff to signify the acceptance of duties and responsibilities of the new appointment after brief religious observances.

The day’s proceedings also included the Troop Address by the Centre Commandant at the Auditorium, 4 Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery and concluded after Officers Address at the Conference hall, RHQ SLA.
