Sri Lanka Artillery Inter Unit Volleyball Championship 2016 concluded successfully at the Volleyball ground, Artillery Complex, Minneriya making 9th Field Regiment as the champion for this year.
Major General Priyantha Jayasundara, Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery graced the occasion as the chief guest where 10 regular units and 2 volunteer units vied for the championship in the tournament.
9th Field Regiment won the championship while 5th Volunteer Regiment became the runners up.
The chief guest congratulated the participants and gave away the trophies and certificates to the winners.
A large gathering of senior officers, other ranks and Volleyball fans witnessed the finals.
