9 SLA celebrated its 17th anniversary with a series of ceremonies which culminated in the Regimental Day Parade accorded to the Commanding Officer on 23 January 2014. The celebrations commenced with the Bodhi Pooja at the unit temple on 15 January followed by a Shramadana Campaign at the Talawa Hospital. War heroes of the unit were honoured at a wreath laying ceremony at the Artillery Monument at Panagoda on 16 January. A few pictures taken at the 9 SLA 17th anniversary celebrations are given below:
