NEW CHIEF INSTRUCTOR ASSUMES OFFICE

Colonel KS Maddumage RSP USP USACGSC Isc assumed duties as the Chief Instructor of the Army War College on 21 March 2026. He is the sixth Chief Instructor to hold this position since the elevation of the Officer Career Development Centre to the Army War College.

Following a symbolic assumption of duties the new Chief Instructor signed an official document to mark the formal acceptance of his office. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Commanding Officer of the Officer Cadet Wing at the Sri Lanka Military Academy.
