INDIAN ARMY OFFICERS' VISIT TO AWC STRENGTHENING INDIA-SRI LANKA ARMY TO ARMY INSTRUCTOR EXCHANGE PROGRAMME

Strengthening the Indian -Sri Lanka Army to Army biliteral understanding and cohesion, four military officers representing Indian Army War College proceeded to Army War College (AWC),Buttala on 13 November 2023.

During their stay at the AWC, as per the scheduled programme of the visiting Indian Army Directing Staff at AWC will engage in interactive sessions of sharing experiences and knowledge in military aspects bearing values for both Armies.

Visiting Indian deligation was warmly welcomed by the Commandant Major General U K D D P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc at his office and held a session for initial recognition of officers in the organisation.

On 19 November, AWC hosted a entertainment programme for the visiting delegation by interacting officers of both Armies at Officers’ Mess which decorated with cultural esthetic performances where they entertained mind relaxing for the bussy weekend after their getting off thier motherland.

Visiting delegation of Directing Staff of Indian Army : Colonel AK Singh, Colonel Anurag Kshitij Bishwas, Col Bhardwaj and Colonel Vivek Singh will stay seven days for as per the programme.
