THE COMMANDANT BIDS FAREWELL TO THE ARMY WAR COLLEGE

Major General DBSN Bothota RWP RSP bade farewell to the Army War College after relinquishing from the duties as the first Commandant of the very recently redesignated Army War College of the Sri Lanka Army on 20 th December 2021.

As a part of a handing over ceremony, the outgoing Commandant laid the foundation stone for the new AWC Officers’ Mess building and planted a ‘Na Sapling’ in front of auditorium. Then he addressed the troops and posed for a photograph with them at the Main Auditorium premises and thereafter, joined with all ranks for refreshments.

The brief ceremony concluded with the farewell dinner arranged in honour of the outgoing Commandant.
