THE UNITED KINGDOM DEFENCE ATTACHE TO SRI LANKA VISITS OCDC

Col David Ashman, the UK Defence Attache to Sri Lanka made an official visit to the Officer Career Development Centre on 29 November 2021. He was received by the Commandant, Major General DBSN Bothota RWP RSP USP psc, with a warm welcome at the Headquarter premises of OCDC.

Soon after his arrival, a briefing was held at the HQ conference hall to educate him on the overall functions of the Centre. The Commandant, Deputy Commandant, Chief Instructor and Senior Instructors participated in the session.

Later, the Defence Attache was taken around the camp, and was shown the facilities available to train the student officers in the OCDC. Thereafter, he interacted with the senior officers and the DS body.

Signifying the official visit to OCDC, he donated some reference materials to the OCDC library.
