THE SECURITY FORCES CENTRAL COMMANDER MAKES HIS FIRST OFFICIAL VISIT TO OCDC

Major General MKS Silva RWP RSP ndu, the Security Forces Central Commander made his maiden visit to the Officer Career Development Centre along with 12 Division Commander, Major General RADP Ranawaka RWP RSP USP ndc on 16 November 2021.

The Security Forces Central Commander was accorded a Guard Turnout with military formalities and was warmly received by the Commandant of OCDC, Major General DBSN Bothota RWP RSP USP psc, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor.

In accordance with the day`s programme, a conference chaired by the Security Forces Central Commander was held at the HQ Conference Hall by adhering to Covid 19 preventive measures. Subsequently, he visited around inspecting the DSW Office premises and other important areas of OCDC. Signifying his visit to the premises, the Commander planted an Ironwood sapling in the camp premises.

The day's event culminated with lunch followed by signing of the Visitor's Book.
