OCDC BIDS FAREWELL TO THE OUTGOING COMMANDANT

OCDC organized a farewell party to outgoing Commandant and the Colonel of the Regiment, Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Major General K J Jayaweera RWP RSP USP rcds at Officer Career Development Centre premises, Buttala on 26 November 2020.This glamorous event was graced by the commandant and his beloved family members.

Keeping in line with the ceremony, the following day$s event commenced with a ceremonial Guard Turnout and the Commandant addressed all the officers and other rank staff in the Main Auditorium followed by a group photograph. The day's event also proceeded with all rank tea, and later he was formally blessed with a traditional street lining in order to bid farewell for the tremendous service rendered for this prime training establishment.
