Colonel GMN Perera RWP RSP USP assumed duties as the 3rd Deputy Commandant of OCDC on 2nd Dec 2019. On his arrival to the OCDC Headquarter premises, the Permanent Staff Officers greeted the new Deputy Commandant with heaps of gratitude.
A simple ceremony of religious observances was held later to obtain blessings before symbolically taking up the appointment. Amidst religious observances, the new Deputy Commandant, placed his signature on an official document, symbolising the formal acceptance of the office at the auspicious minute.
The Senior Instructors, CO and several other Officers were also present at this prestigious juncture.
