Junior Command Course 15/2019 Commenced

Continuing with the main responsibility of equipping future commanders of the Sri Lanka Army, Officer Career Development Centre commenced Junior Command Course 15 as the first course for the New Year 2019 with the participation of 63 officers in the ranks of Major and Captain of the Sri Lanka Army.

Addressing the student officers, the Commandant of Officer Career Development Centre, Brigadier DMDCD Gunawardane RWP USP ndc psc welcomed the student officers by wishing them a happy New Year. Further, he emphasized the value of completing this course in a competitive environment.

A solid foundation to the course was laid with the Chief Instructor’s guidance and instructed the student officers to complete the course successfully. The Senior Instructor gave guidelines and advised them to follow the course with a higher morale. The Commanding Officer, Admin Wing addressed the student officers and gave necessary admin instructions in order to make their stay at this centre comfortable.

All the permanent staff officers of the centre attended the ceremony.
