GRADUATION CEREMONY OF UCC 2, JCC 14 & JSC 14

The graduation ceremony of Officer Career Development Centre was held on 07 December 2018.

The Junior Command Course 14 commenced on 27 August 2018 at Officer Career Development Centre and marked its culmination on 07 December followed by a Course End Mess Night. The Course consisted of 49 officers including 9 foreign officers from Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Maldives and Nepal. The Unit Command Course 2 and Junior Staff Course 14 were also conducted simultaneously from 11 September 2018 and terminated on 07 December 2018 followed by a Course End Mess Night. The Unit Command Course 2 consisted of 20 officers and Junior Staff Course 14 consisted of 39 officers including 2 foreign officers from Bangladesh.

The event was held with the participation of the Commandant, Deputy Commandant, Chief Instructor, Senior Instructors and other members of the staff. At the certificate awarding ceremony Major JD Bharatha Jayaweera from Special Forces(SF) secured the first place out of 20 Officers of the Unit Command Course 2. Captain KHK Asela Priyankara from Sri Lanka Army Service Corps(SLASC) secured the first place out of 40 officers and Major Fahim Sarwar from Bangladesh Army secured the first place among the foreign students of the Junior Command Course 14. Lieutenant MH Mohamed Imran from the Gamunu Watch(GW) secured the first place out of 39 officers of the Junior Staff Course 14.
