Junior Command Course 12 & Junior Staff Course 13 end Successfully

The Junior Command Course No 12 conducted by the Officer Career Development Centre (OCDC) Buttala marked its culmination on 10 April followed by a Course end Dinner Night.

The 4-month long course commenced on 6 January and the Commandant of the OCDC warmly welcomed all participants and foreign officers.

The course consisted of 59 Student Officers including 2 Bangladeshi Officers, 2 Nepalese Officers and 2 Maldivian Officers.

The Junior Staff Course 13 too was conducted simultaneously from 11 January to 10 April at the OCDC with the participation of 33 officers.

The certificate awarding ceremony was held in 8 April and Major Sameera Vidanagamage of Commando Regiment (CR) secured the first place of the Junior Command Course -12.

After successful completion of the Junior Staff Course 13, Captain Nuwan Wijewardhane of Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) secured the First Place while Captain Duminda Mendis of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) received the award for the Best Service paper.
