Officer Career Development Centre (OCDC) Vesak Zone was declared opened by Senior Instructor, Colonel M K U P Gunaratne RSP psc IG on 15 May 2014. The Zone exhibited creative vesak lanterns according to the theme of Lord Buddha’s Themagula. The event was successfully conducted with the guidance of the Commandant, Brigadier A W M P R Seneviratne RSP IG.
