Unit Command Course Commenced

Signifying the proud existence amongst the prime military training centres of the Sri Lanka Army, the Officer Career Development Centre commenced its second Unit Command Course with a solid foundation on 11 September 2018. Twenty (20) student officers of the Sri Lanka Army in the rank of Major have been enlisted to follow the course.

Delivering the opening remarks, Brigadier DMDCD Gunawardana RWP USP ndc psc, the Commandant of the centre extended his warm welcome to all the officers to this prime officer training establishment of the Sri Lanka Army whilst stressing the importance of discipline and loyalty. He further elaborated on the prominence of the course with a brief introduction.

Colonel DKSK Dolage USP psc, the Chief Instructor of the centre, outlined the course curriculum and advised to complete the course successfully. Further, he emphasised the importance of following the course diligently.

The ceremony was attended by the Senior Instructor - UCC and all other officers of the OCDC.
