RESOURCE SCHOLARS RECEIVE TOKENS OF APPRECIATION FOR AWC SYMPOSIUM

The incumbent Battalion Commanders in the ranks of Lieutenant Colonel and Major themed Army War College (AWC) successfully concluded its first Symposium for ‘Civil-military Relations and Military Professionalism’. The two-day symposium that aimed at broadening the knowledge on the specific subject area.

As an appreciation for the resource scholars’ contribution of intellectual knowledge to the symposium, the Session Chairs and the Guest Speakers received tokens of appreciation.

Specially, in appreciation of timely guidance and instructions to lead the symposium proceedings, the Commander of the Army was honoured by awarding a token of appreciation by the Commandant, AWC.

According to this notion, resource scholars for this annual symposium were given away tokens of appreciations by the Commandant, Brigadier Manada Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Deputy Commandant, Brigadier MCSK Senarathna RWP RSP, former Chief Instructor, Brigadier GJNW Fernando USP USACGSC psc Incumbent Chief Instructor, Brigadier SP Wickramasekara RWP RSP USP psc and Senior Instructor Junior Staff Course Col BDTD Jayaratne psc.

During the brief meetings of each individual of scholars who immensely extended their intellectual insights to the symposium were convinced sincere gratitude and thanks and the gesture was reciprocated by every individual at their meeting.
