PRAGNGNA VIHARAYA

Stepping beyond the boundaries of the premier training establishment, Officer Career Development Centre (OCDC) declared open the newly renovated "Pragngna Viharaya" at the centre to mark the Poson Day by the Commandant, Brig D M D C D Gunawardana RWP USP ndc psc at the auspicious time on 08 June 2017 amidst the Chanting of Pirith by the Venerable Mapakada Pemarathana Thero.

The project was carried out by the CES sub unit with the support of the all ranks of the centre. The site consists with Boo Tree, Pagoda and Shrine Room, which make it complete.

The occasion was graced by Ven Mapakada Pemarathana Thero, who guided the project throughout. Col K A N N Koswatta RWP RSP, Commander, 121 Brigade, the Chief Instructor, Senior Instructors, Commanding Officer and all the staff of the centre along with the family members of Other Ranks participated the ceremony.
