OCDC HOLDS THE SECOND DINERS’ CLUB FOR THE YEAR 2021

OCDC was blessed with the opportunity to witness an impressive session of its second Diners’ Club for year 2021. It was graced by the Guest Speaker, Brigadier Rohan Jayasinghe (Retd) USP psc LOM.

The Diners’ Club was conducted on 06 August 2021 for the student officers of Senior Command Course 2, Junior Command Course 21 and Junior Staff Course 21 with a charm, yet dazzling set up at the Main Auditorium and the Officers’ Mess.

The impactful speech on ‘Professionalism and the Dignity of the Profession of Arms’ delivered by the Guest Speaker, reminded them on military professionalism and forgotten customs.

The Guest Speaker was presented with a memento as a token of appreciation and the culmination was marked with a formal dinner at the Officers’ Mess.

Along with students, the Commandant, Deputy Commandant, Chief Instructor, Senior Instructors, Senior Officers and all the members of the permanent staff attended the event.
