THE NEW DEPUTY COMMANDANT ARMY WAR COLLEGE ASSUMES DUTIES

Brigadier BPPGK Balasooriya RSP psc assumed duties as the Deputy Commandant of the Army War College, Buttala on 24th July 2023 with a brief ceremony.

The new Deputy Commandant was warmly received by the Staff Officer 1 (Admin) with other Senior Officers on his arrival to the AWC.

Subsequently, the formalities of assuming duties with the signing of documents at auspicious time marked the acceptance of his new office amidst religious observances.

Subsequently, he addressed the Permanent Sraff Officers and Other Ranks respectively at the Conference Hall.

The brief ceremony culminated with all ranks welcome refreshment arranged at the Headquarters, AWC.
