NEW COMMANDANT ASSUMES DUTIES

Brigadier YABM Yahampath RWP RSP psc assumed duties as the Third Commandant of Army War College on 18 July 2022.

The new commandant was accorded with a Guard Turnout on his arrival and was warmly received by the Deputy Commandant with other senior officers. Subsequently, the formal procedure of assuming duties with the signing of documents at auspicious time marked the acceptance of his new office amidst religious observances.

Soon after assuming duties, the Commandant planted a ‘Na Sapling’ in the College premises. Then he addressed the troops at the Main Auditorium and he was briefed on functions of the College by key appointment holders during the training and admin briefing.
