LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP FOR SCHOOL PREFECTS

The Officer Career Development Centre, the esteem seat of excellence has graced upon the future leaders of the nation by sharping their skills and capabilities with another successful Leadership Programme for the school prefects on 26 June 2017.

The programme was conducted by the officers of the OCDC with the guidance and encouragement of the Commandant, Brig DMDCD Gunawardhana RWP USP ndc psc and the Chief Instructor, Colonel W Chandrasiri RSP USP psc. There were ninety-two (92) school prefects of M/Kolonvinna Vidyalaya, M/Thenagallanda Madya Maha Vidyalaya and M/Dombagahawela Madya Maha Vidyalaya participated the programme with their teachers.

The programme was conducted throughout the day allowing the students to engage in many events. Mainly the programme was focused on problem solving, public speaking, communication, innovative skills, understanding the personality building by giving the students an exposure to the different life events.

Presents were awarded to the prefects who performed well in the workshop by the Chief Instructor of the OCDC.
