JUNIORS TRIUMPH OVER SENIORS

The A Team of JCC 23 led by Captain Pubudu Rathnayake became the champions of the Basketball Tournament by defeating the A Team of SCC 4 led by Major Harsha Wickramanayake at the finals held at the College Basketball Court on 29 March 2022. The final score was 67 - 41.

Captain Pubudu Rathnayake of the A Team of JCC 23 adjudged the Best Defender award and Major Nirmal Abeyrathna from the same team became the Best Shooter of the tournament. This tournament provided an opportunity for the skillful players to showcase their talents and to develop camaraderie among one another.

The Commandant, Major General UUKLS Perera RWP RSP USP psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Student Officers and all members of the Permanent Staff of Army War College also participated in the event.
