Officer Career Development Centre, the prime training establishment of the officers of the Sri Lanka Army, officially commenced its 14th Junior Command Corse on 27 August 2018 in the OCDC Main Auditorium. 50 officers including 9 foreign officers from friendly foreign countries of Bangladesh, India, Malayasiya, Maldives and Nepal have been enlisted to follow the course.
Delivering the opening address, Brigadier DMDCD Gunawardane RWP USP ndc psc, the Commandant OCDC, welcomed the student officers whilst highlighting the importance of following the Junior Command Course. He also stressed upon the value of being inspired with discipline, integrity and loyalty in the military life.
Colonel DKSK Dolage USP psc, the Chief Instructor and the Senior Instructor – JCC addressed the student officers with a brief overview of the course while encouraging them to complete the course successfully.
The ceremony was attended by the all the officers of the OCDC.
