JCC TRIUMPHS AWC CRICKET

Team 2 of Junior Command Course became the champions of the first Cricket Tournament of Army War College held on 28 January 2023 in first trimester. Team 5 of Junior Command Course became the runners-up.

Major Vikum Bandara from the winning team became the Best Bowler by taking 7 wickets in this tournament. Scoring 154 runs, Major Paluwila from the same team was awarded with the Best Batsman trophy and, Major Chinthaka by scoring 156 runs and 3 wickets became the Man of the Series.

The Commandant Army War College, Brigadier YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc graced the finals as the Chief Guest. The student officers of Senior Command Course 7, Junior Command Course 26, Junior Staff Course 23 and the Permanent Staff participated in the tournament.
