Officer Career Development Centre commenced JSC 18 with the primary objective of enhancing military professionalism among the army officers on 21st January 2020.The Junior Staff Course comprises of 53 student officers in the ranks of Captain and Lieutenant.
Concurrently, the Senior Instructor of JSC addressed the student officers and the Commanding Officer - Admin Wing also passed down necessary admin instructions during his Admin briefing.
Keeping in line with the ceremony, Major General K J Jayaweera RWP RSP USP rcds, the Commandant of OCDC warmly welcomed the student officers on 22nd January 2020 and highlighted the necessity of following JSC and further emphasised the value of completing the course in a competitive and serenity environment. At the same time, he stressed upon the significance of being inspired with discipline, integrity and loyalty in military life.
All the permanent staff officers of OCDC attended this event.
